Warriors arrive in Malawi for friendly

The Zimbabwe national team arrived safely in Blantyre for their international friendly with Malawi.

The Warriors local contingent travelled by bus, whilst the South African based contingent flew out to Blantyre.

The Warriors squad included the Highlanders trio of Kuda Mahachi  , Peter ‘Rio’ Moyo and Milton Ncube who were involved in a car accident on Sunday while traveling to join the camp in Harare.

Despite making the trip Khama Billiat may not play with Mamelodi Sundowns insisting the player is injured and they expect him to be sent back after the Wariors team make their own medical assessment.

While  Czech-based left back Costa Nhamoinesu was not released by his side.

The team also does not feature Dynamos players who are busy preparing for their CAF Champions League 2nd leg preliminary round fixture against DRC side AS Vita.
