Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho believes Manchester City and Arsenal still have good chances of progressing in the UEFA Champions League despite losing their first legs.

Arsenal lost their first leg 2-0 to current Champions Bayern Munich while Manchester City trail Barcelona by the same scoreline.

When asked on the chances of the two fellow English sides, Mourinho said both teams were in with a chance though Arsenal had the more difficult task.

Can’t City win in Barcelona? Barcelona lost against Valladolid. And lost at home against Valencia. So, why can’t they win?

“Arsenal, at Bayern, can they win 2-0 and go to extra-time? Difficult. Probably the most difficult, but they can,” said Mourinho

Arsenal play Bayern Munich today while Manchester City take on Barcelona tomorrow.
