Dynamos head coach Callisto Pasuwa says failure to make the most of home advantage in the first leg came was the main reason Dynamos were eliminated from the CAF Champions League by AS Vita.
AS Vita won the 2nd leg 1-0 courtesy of a penalty, however it was Dembare’s failure to score at home that Pasuwa believes cost the team.
Speaking on arrival from the DRC Pasuwa said “I think we lost it when we played at home, we should have scored goals in Harare. It’s part of the game although we went there, dominated the game, we missed so many chances,”
Pasuwa also believes his team improved by their strike force let them down once again as they failed to find the back of the net
‘We improved from our first game in the DRC but we could not bury the chances that came our way” “Its back to the drawing board for us, l believe we have learnt our lesson. If you don’t score goals at home you have problems in this competition said Pasuwa.
Dynamos will now turn focus to the domestic season as they look to defend their premier league title.
