Reigning Soccer Star of the year and Dynamos midfielder Tawanda Muparati has admitted that playing against Highlanders is not an ordinary game but they will seek to main their dominance over the Bulawayo football giants when the two teams clash in the Bob 90 Super Cup final match on Sunday.
Highlanders have failed to beat Dynamos since 2006, the year they lifted the league title under Methembe Ndlovu. “We want to main our dominance over Highlanders. I know it will not be easy but it’s quite possible because we are prepared. Our loss in DRC is now water under the bridge. Our focus is now on the Bob 90 Super Cup,” said Muparati. A win will be a big boost to the Zimbabwean champions as well as their coach Callisto Paswua whose future remains uncertain with calls from some sections of fans and management wanting him fired after a failed CAF Champions League campaign.
