Zimbabwe national team head coach Callisto Pasuwa admits he is taking a cautious approach in their AFCON qualifier against Guinea this afternoon and not underestimating the West Africans.
Pasuwa has assembled what looks like a really good squad on paper but says his team will not be complacent against a very good Guinea side.
Speaking to The Sunday Mail Pasuwa said, “The key issue is about caution, it has to be caution first. No complacency at all, yes, we beat Malawi away and Guinea lost to Swaziland but this is a different game altogether.
“That Guinea side that lost to Swaziland was almost like a second string side but now they have brought an almost full strength side. Remember this is a nation that usually does well in Afcon qualifiers hence they are no pushovers.”
Zimbabwe won their opener against Malawi 2-1 and will be hoping for another win to give them the advantage. Malawi and Swaziland clash in the other group game this afternoon.
