Chitembwe confident of CAPS United improvement

CAPS  United head coach Lloyd Chitembwe believes the goals will soon come from his team after playing a goalless draw with Buffaloes at the National Sports Stadium yesterday.

It was Chitembwe’s first game in charge since taking over as head coach from Mark Mathe.CAPS United missed a number of chances throughout the match and were lucky to finish the game with at least a point after Buffaloes had a goal disallowed.

Speaking after the match Chitembwe said,” We dominated the match and applied ourselves well but it was not complete.

“We should great desire and I am pleased about that we have to work to resolve on the shortcomings. We need to work on the finishing and I am sure it will work out it’s a process.

The draw sees CAPS United finish Week 22 of the Castle Lager Premiership in 7th spot with 31 points. CAPS United are now winless in their past three matches  with the last victory being a 1-0 win over Flame Lilly in Week 18.
