FC Platinum coach  Norman Mapeza scooped the August coach  of the month award while Chicken Inn  Mitchelle Katsvairo was awarded the player of the month award.

Mapeza who endured a difficult start to the season has managed to regain rythm and has now gone 13 matches undefeated.

The coach has proved his shrewdness managing to mantain a winning streak despite losig six key players this season – the likes of Wisdom Mutasa, Walter Musona, Donald Ngoma and Thabani Kamusoko.

FC Platinum currently lie on 2nd position, 5 points behind log leaders Chicken Inn with 8 matches remaining.

Chicken Inn striker Mitchelle managed to pick the August player of the month award for splendid perfomances that has led to Chicken Inn maintaining a tight grip at the summit of the log.
