Zimbabwean international Nyasha Mushekwi has reportedly stopped attending Mamelodi Sundowns training after getting frustrated with the treatment he has received from club.
Mushekwi is still contracted to Sundowns despite appearing not to be in head coach Pitso Mosimane plans.
According to reports Mushekwi has not returned to training since the Warriors AFCON qualifier against Guinea.
Mushekwi had a successful loan stint at Swedish side Djurgården who are keen to sign him but his contract situation with Sundowns seems to have made complicated a deal. The two clubs could not agree on a loan extension and move to Turkey also fell through.
Mushekwi’s contract is set to expire next year.
Meanwhile despite leaving the Swedish league a couple of months ago Mushekwi is still among the top goal scorers
Mushekwi is now in the 3rd spot on the goal scoring charts.
