Danny Phiri committed to Chicken Inn

Chicken Inn captain Danny “Deco” Phiri has committed himself to Gamecocks saying he will not move to any local club come 2016.

“I will never leave Chicken Inn. This is my home and I am happy I have made history with club. I will only move to a foreign club,” said Phiri on the side lines of the club’s braai party that was held on Saturday evening soon after clinching the 2015 league championship.

At the beginning of the year Chicken Inn bought the player a house in his boyhood suburb of Mzilikazi.

Veteran midfielder Clemence Matawu and young goal poacher Edmore Chirambadare also said their hearts were still with the Innscor sponsored outfit.

“This is my home. I will never go anywhere. I am happy I have achieved what other players have failed to achieve. I believe I had a stellar debut season in PSL,” said Chirambadare.

Matawu : “It has all came courtesy of professionalism and determination.

Another stay at the club will do good for me. We are a family here and one will always want to be part of this family.
