Dynamos striker Roderick Mutuma has apologised for his behaviour during the Netone Easycall Cup semi-final clash with Highlanders.
Mutuma was sent off after kicking Ralph Matema after the Highlanders striker had fouled him in the closing stages of the game
Mutuma actions attracted criticism from head coach Tonderai Ndiraya who called it a silly and stupid thing to do. Mutuma is also set to be sanctioned by the club who seem to be running out of patience with the temperamental forward.
“I was coming from injury and when he tackled me and the referee not blowing I felt so bad at the moment and I ended up kicking him said Mutuma in his apology
I want to say sorry to him (Ralph Matema),the sponsor,ZIFA ,PSL,the fans, my teammates and my technical bench.
Mutuma has already been handed a four match ban for charging and verbally assaulting the referee after the Chibuku Super Cup final. Dynamos though have appealed the ruling.
