Warriors head coach Callisto Pasuwa is confident his team can do well against Zambia when they kick off their CHAN 2016 campaign tomorrow.
The Warriors arrived in Rwanda in good spirits on Saturday after a great send off on Friday and have settled done well
They take on their neighbours at Umuganda Stadium in the Rwanda border town of Rubavu. Zambia’s have had better preparations than Zimbabwe a fact acknowledged by Pasuwa but he remains confident of a win and warned against giving them too much respect
Speaking to the Herald Pasuwa said, “They have got experience yes but we should not look at names, we just have to go there and fight hard because we know the importance of this match in building our confidence and how will proceed from there.
After Zambia next up for the Warriors is Mali on the 23rd of January and then Uganda on the 27th in the final group game.
