Border Strikers have sacked Saul Chaminuka has head coach for ill-discipline and poor results.

Chaminuka has struggled to get results and the club executive ran out of patience with the former ZPC Kariba and Warriors assistant coach.

Never Malunga has been appointed the interim head coach. Speaking to the Chronicle club secretary Rodlet Chigwinya said,”We have parted ways with Chaminuka and appointed his assistant has interim caretaker coach.

Chigwinya said they could not continue with the relationship with poor results coming while Chaminuka had a tendency of disappearing after games and only appearing on match days.

Border Strikers lost to fellow debutant Ngezi Platinum at the weekend a game where Chaminuka pitched up late with players licences leading to a delay in kickoff.

Border Strikers anchor the sixteen log table with a paltry three points from 11 games.
