Dynamos hurt by Mbara move to ABSA Premiership

Dynamos admit they have been hurt by Augustine Mbara’s move to the ABSA Premiership on a free transfer.

As has become norm Dynamos  left negotiations until the last minute only for their skipper to joining Highlands Park on a two year contract.

Dynamos managed to get a deal with Elisha Muroiwa who had the same situation.

Speaking to the Herald Dynamos treasurer Webster Marechera said, “Of course players come and go, but it hurts to lose someone who you nurtured and gave spotlight without getting anything for it.

Marechera put some of the blame on player agents who he said made sure players signed short contracts so that players become free agents quickly and are then more attractive for interested clubs.

Dynamos will now have to dip into the market to find a suitable replacement with the transfer window now open.
