Mathe pleased with maximum points against Highlanders

CAPS United assistant coach Mark Mathe says his side could have played even better against Highlanders but what mattered in the end was the three points.

Dominic Chungwa’s 58th minute goal saw the Green Machine avenge their loss to Highlanders at Barbourfields Stadium two weeks ago. CAPS United could have scored more with Devon Chafa failing to convert  a penalty while Ronald Pfumbidzai struck the post.

“We are of course happy with the three points. We did not control the game like we would have wanted but we are happy with got the points. It allows us to keep up the pressure (on leaders FC Platinum)

The result saw the Green Machine move into second spot a point above Highlanders and four points behind FC Platinum.
