Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat was in deadly form for Mamelodi Sundowns as they beat Namibian Premier league champions United Africa Tigers in the Dr Hage Geingob Cup pre-season tournament played in Windhoek.
Billiat set up three assists to help Sundowns retain the cup. Despite not getting on the score sheet Billiat said he was happy to play his part in the victory.
“I get very excited when the team plays well and get the results, even if I don’t score. For me having a good game and contributing positively is all that matters,” Billiat told the club’s official website.
“There’s a lot to be excited about at Sundowns, apart from defending the Hage Geingob Cup, the team is playing well and the team chemistry is growing match by match. Even when there are new players being introduced in the setup, the understanding amongst players is consistent.”
