Highlanders head coach Erol Akbay remains confident that his side are still in the league title race despite the recent poor run of form.

Highlanders have now gone five games without a win and take on ZPC Kariba at Nyamhunga Stadium this afternoon in a tricky game. ZPC Kariba have only lost once in the 10 games played at home this season.

Highlanders’ poor results have seen them lost some ground with the top two teams FC Platinum and CAPS United. Highlanders trail FC Platinum by seven points.

Speaking ahead of the encounter Akbay said, “It’s a game we definitely have to win. As a coach I am not happy when we are not winning. If we can start winning we can stand a chance to win the title added Akbay.

Highlanders head into the match with at least six players set to miss out through suspension. Honest Moyo and Simon Munawa are both suspended while Ralph Matema ,Benson Phiri,Nhlanhla Ndlovu are all injured.
