Dynamos gave themselves a fighting chance to remain in the league title race when they beat Tsholotsho while FC Platinum and CAPS United both drew away from home.
Dynamos who have had a turbulent week went into the lead through Takudzwa Sadiki’s goal in the 17th minute.
Dynamos youngster Tawanda Macheka then wrapped up the win towards the end of the match when he scored the second. The result leaves Dynamos ten points behind log leaders FC Platinum with six rounds of matches left to play.
At Nyamhunga stadium FC Platinum were left frustrated by a resilent Border Strikers who earned a deserved point.
Brian Muzondiwa came closest for Norman Mapeza’s team as he hiT the wood work in the second half.
At Nyamhunga Stadium both CAPS United and ZPC Kariba had good opportunities but were found wanting in front of goal.
In the first half Leonard Tsipa and Dominic Chungwa in particular missed great chances to puts CAPS United ahead. With FC Platinum also drawing the two sides are still a point apart at the top of the table. The results present a big opportunity for Highlanders to close the gap with a win against Harare City tomorrow afternoon.
