Gweru will host a Caf C licence course which will run from 27 October to 7 November.
Fees for the course have been pegged at $350. Zifa Central Soccer League (CSL) board member administration John Marima in a statement to affiliates said the course is targeting coaches with at least Zifa Level 3 coaching badges.
“The association hereby invites your coaches to attend a Caf C coaching course which is going to take place from 27th October to 7th of November on Gweru,” said Marima.
“The course is targeting coaches who have done at least Level 3 coaching course and are currently working your teams and those actively involved in coaching,” added Marima.
He said this is part of Zifa’s efforts in standardising qualifications for local coaches at all levels starting from grassroots football through to national team level.

The move is meant to ensure that footballers produced in the country match international football standards and ultimately break into competitive leagues.
