Khama Billiat nominated for top CAF award

Zimbabwean international Khama Billiat has been nominated for the 2016 CAF Player of the Year and CAF Player of the Year  based in Africa awards.

Billiat has been one of standout players for Mamelodi Sundowns in the African Safari and in the ABSA Premiership as well. Sundowns are through to the CAF Champions League final and will face Egyptian side in 1st leg in South Africa today.

Billiat  clinched the South African Football of the Year award after a superb season that saw Sundowns clinch the ABSA Premiership.

The list shall be shortened further to top five players then a Top 3 list. The winner will be announced at The Glo-CAF 2016 Awards Gala which will be held on the 5th of January 2017 in Abuja, Nigeria
