Warriors team manager Shariff Mussa says they likely be restricted to use only locally based players for the friendly against Zambia as the match falls outside the international fixtures calendar.
The Warriors will meet Zambia at the National Sports Stadium on Saturday as part of preparations for AFCON 2017. That will be followed by another friendly against Tanzania on Sunday 13th of November.
However with FIFA setting out 7-18 November as the official international fixtures period chances of having the Warriors foreign based contingent this weekend are very slim.
“As you are aware the first date falls outside the FIFA calendar for international matches Mussa told H-Metro.So it means it will be difficult to get the real AFCON squad for this game (against Zambia).
However most if not all foreign based players will be available for the match against Tanzania which will take place at the National Sports Stadium as well.
Meanwhile Callisto Pasuwa is now set to announce the squad for the weekend friendly on Thursday.
