Former Zimbabwean international keeper Tapuwa Kapini scored the winner as Highlands Park beat Ajax Cape Town 2-1 in an ABSA Premiership match played this evening.

Kapini scored in the 56th minute with his clearance ending up in the back of the net. Highlands Park had taken the lead in the 12th minute through Lindokhule Mbatha but Ajax Cape Town equalised in the 53rd minute.

However three minutes later Kapini’s clearance ended up in the back of the net to give Highlands Park only their second win of the season.

In other matches Kaizer Chiefs winless streak stretched to seven games after playing out a dull goalless draw with Blomfontein Celtic.
