Khama Billiat has now finally joined the Warriors camp ahead as preparations for African Cup of Nations continued.
Billiat had been given a few days off by the Warriors technical to rest and recuperate following recommendations from his club after a hectic few months.
However Billiat irked fans and attracted widespread criticism last when when pictures and reports emerged of the player seemingly busy enjoying himself and partying in Harare while other players were in camp.
Zifa were quick to point out that what players did outside of camp was outside their jurisdiction and could not comment on players personal lives.
Billiat’s behaviour also reportedly upset some Warriors players as well leading to concerns that the situation could cause tensions in squad.
‘Billiat is now in camp and we expect Knowledge Musona today (Monday) said ZIFA communications manager Xolisani Gwesela.
Musona featured for his Belgium side KV Oostende on the 26th of December delaying his arrival for camp.
The two players will complete the Warriors squad that is set to be reduced to the required final 23 players by Wednesday.
