In the Castle Lager Premiership Dynamos, ZPC Kariba, How Mine and Chicken Inn all registered wins.
Dynamos registered their third consecutive league win when they beat Tsholotsho 1-0 at Dulivhadzimu stadium.
Despite dominating play and getting the better chances Dynamos had to wait til the 79th minute to break the deadlock. Quality Kangadzi scored the all important goal when he beat the Tsholotsho defence at pace.
Kangadzi could have been on the scoresheet earlier but was denied by Chang Mariyoni who made key saves to keep Dynamos out. The result moves Dynamos to 8th spot and onto 17 points after 10 games.
ZPC Kariba bounced back from the defeat to Dynamos when they beat Bantu Rovers 3-1 at Nyamhunga Stadium.
Raphael Manuvire opened the scoring in the 32nd minute before Talent Chamboko doubled the lead just after the halftime break. Tawanda Muyanduri sealed the win in the 67th minute with the third goal. Bantu Rovers did manage to pull one back through a penalty converted by Bukhosi Sibanda. Sibanda now has 8 goals 11 games.
In other matches, Chicken Inn edged Harare City 1-0 at the National Sports Stadium. Veteran midfielder Clemence Matawu set up Innocent Mucheneka who scored in the 27th minute.
In an early kick-off Yadah took full advantage of a blunder by Ruzive Ruzive to draw 2-2 with Hwange. Yadah keeper Tafadzwa Dube handled the ball outside the box but Ruzive waved play on resulting in Yadah going on an attack and scoring the equaliser.
