ZIFA president Philip Chiyangwa has hailed the Warriors performance against Liberia and says interim head coach Norman Mapeza is not going anywhere.

The Warriors got off to a great start by registering a 3-0 victory with Knowledge Musona grabbing a hat-trick and Chiyangwa believes this is just beginning.

“I have an excellent team and an excellent coach, “said Chiyangwa after the game.

“He is irreplaceable stated Chiyangwa. For how long should I keep on saying asked Chiyangwa when quizzed on whether Mapeza would become the substantive head coach.

“You know we don’t have many national team games this year.  He is the FC Platinum coach, yes, and he is also the national team coach,” added Chiyangwa.
