Kaizer Chiefs are set to loan out Michelle Katsvairo for a season. Katsvairo has struggled with game time after making a switch from Chicken Inn together with Edmore Chirambadare in 2016.
In contrast, Chirambadare has been a regular at the club and recently won the most improved player award.
Katsvairo is one of seven players set to be released by the club after being deemed surplus to future requirements.
However, Katsvairo could still have a future at the club if he does well on loan
Part of a statement from Kaizer Chiefs read:
Michelle Katsvairo will be loaned out for a season and assessed again at the end of next season before a permanent decision on his future with Amakhosi is made.
Siyanda Xulu, Lucky Baloyi, Camaldine Abraw , Lewis Macha , Enocent Mkhabela and Siphelele Mthembu have all been let go by the club.
“These players have contracts with the Club but they did not enjoy sufficient game-time during last season and we felt it would be in their best interests as well as ours for them to pursue their careers elsewhere,” Kaizer Chiefs Football Manager Bobby Motaung told the club’s official website
