Chicken Inn moved to the top of the Castle Lager Premiership with a 1-0 win over Tsholotsho at Dulivhadzimo Stadium this afternoon.

Christopher Samakweri’s goal in the 17th minute was the difference as the Gamecocks picked up another win.

Tsholotsho have now lost 8 of their 13 games this season and anchor the league table with 5 points.

In the other match of the day FC Platinum registered another draw away to ZPC Kariba. Both teams really struggled to get meaningful chances in the first half but there was more action in the second half.

ZPC Kariba felt they should have been awarded a penalty when Rodwell Chinyengetere handled in the box on the 70th-minute mark.

Francesco Zikumbawire wasted a great chance to open the scoring in the 73rd minute while Charles Sibanda’s had a close shot saved in added time.
