CAPS United receive hostile reception in Tunisia

Lloyd Chitembwe has called for focus from CAPS United after his squad received a hostile reception in Tunisia ahead of their CAF Champions League clash against Al Ahli Tripoli.

After a long journey that included passing through SA, and Egypt, CAPS United were made to wait for three hours to have their visas issued after arriving in Tunisia.

After finally entering the country CAPS United had to embark on a 2hr and 30 minutes road trip to the town of Sfax where the match will take place.

CAPS United head into the game needing a win after slipping up at home three weeks ago losing 4-2 to the same opposition.

Chitembwe encouraged his side to use the treatment to their advantage.

“Don’t be disturbed by the mind games, focus on the game and show you are not in the group stages by chance Chitembwe, is quoted by the Herald tell his squad.

The match will kick off at 23:00Hrs Zimbabwean time.
