The Highlanders striker in currently with the Zimbabwe national team and has attracted interest from ABSA Premiership clubs which include Ajax Cape Town and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Dube scored in the Warriors 6-0 thrashing of the Seychelles and started in the 2-1 win over Swaziland.

According to a source who spoke to the official Cosafa website Ajax Cape Town have been following the boy for a while and they are keen to see him in training. ‘He will not be going back to Zimbabwe after the tournament,” the source revealed to Cosafa.com

However Soccer24 understands Sundowns could beat Ajax Cape Town to Dube’s  signature with the club impressed with what they have seen so far.

Soccer24 has it on good authority that former Sundowns and Warriors international Esrom Nyandoro who has been scouting for the club has made enquiries about the player on the club’s behalf.

Dube has been a key figure for Highlanders this season and has six league goals so far.
