FC Platinum head coach Norman Mapeza says his players are focused on bouncing back to winning ways after suffering their first league defeat of the season last weekend when they went down to Ngezi Platinum.

FC Platinum take on Chapungu in a Midlands derby targeting a positive result.

“It’s a Midlands derby but for us the most important thing is to do well come Saturday after losing to Ngezi said Mapeza ahead of the match this afternoon.

“It’s a game where we need to collect maximum points at home , so it’s very important for us as a club to play well and get a positive result.

“We have spoken to the players , I think everyone is working very hard so that we become successful  at the end of the season.

“We have spoken to the guys and they know the importance of winning games. “We have just lost once so I don’t think we need to look down because we lost to Ngezi, the guys know the importance of this game added Mapeza.

FC Platinum are currently in sixth place with 26 points while Chapungu are in ninth place with 21 points and head into the game on a three match winning streak.
