Warriors striker Knox Mutizwa has clinched the Cosafa Cup 2017 Player of the Tournament
The Zimbabwe international scored an impressive five goals to finish as the tournament’s second top scorer and has seen off competition from the likes of compatriot Ovidy Karuru and Zambian youngsters.
The 25-year-old was voted as the winner by the Cosafa team technical observers.
He also found the net in Sunday’s final as Zimbabwe beat Zambia 3-1 to win a Historic fifth COSAFA title.
Tanzanian goalkeeper Said Mohamed Said , meanwhile, was named as the tournament’s best goalkeeper. Ovidy Karuru’s record six goals means he wins the golden boot.
