Macauley Bonne (21) has completed his move from Colchester United to Leyton Orient. Bonne had been struggling to get a regular starting place at Colchester leading to the switch.
Leyton Orient play in the English National League, the fifth tier of the English football league
A statement from the club read:
Following negotiations between the player and the two clubs, and a medical on Friday morning, the twenty one year old has put pen to paper on a two year deal at the O’s and moves to the East London club for an undisclosed fee, subject to relevant approvals.
Bonne is eligible to turn out for the Warriors and has received a number of call ups but has not be able to make a senior debut because of passport complications. He has however represented Zimbabwe at U-23 level scoring on debut against Morocco.
