Warriors head coach Sunday Chidzambwa says he is now shifting focus to the second leg CHAN qualifier against Namibia.

Zimbabwe went down 1-0 in Windhoek and will need to beat Namibia at the National Sports Stadium this weekend to remain in the qualifies.

Chidzambwa admitted Namibia had been the better side but it was important for the Warriors to fix their shortcomings .

“We have some work to do on our hands but it’s not insurmountable Chidzambwa told the Herald. “We will need to rectify the mistakes that  we made in the previous game he added.

Training is set to resume this afternoon. Despite the win Namibia head coach Ricardo Mannetti admitted the tie was far from . “We now have to prepare for the second leg and again we remain underdogs and have to play above ourselves again like we did  said Mannetti.

“They (Zimbabwe) will be at home and have depth and we have to counter that he stated.
