Highlanders have handed Roderick Mutuma his clearance letter ahead his move to join Yadah FC.

“We have cleared the player to go on a mutual consent said Highlanders chairman Modern Ngwenya.

“It’s not that he was a bad boy. “He was really applying himself well.

“It’s only that our sponsorship was cut by half and such the salary we were giving to Mutuma was not enough for him to cater for his family in Harare,” he added.

Mutuma, who had four months remaining on his contract with Bosso,  was reportedly getting a $500 monthly salary.

He signed for Yadah FC for $4 000. At the Prophetic Healing and Deliverance Ministries run club Mutuma is understood to have been offered $1 000 per month.
