ZPC Kariba refuse to travel to Harare for league match

The Castle Lager Premiership match between ZPC Kariba and FC Platinum could be postponed after the former refused to travel to Harare.

The Kariba-based side insist that they should play home games at their Nyamhunga Stadium.

Kauya Katuruturu were supposed to host FC Platinum at National Sports Stadium this afternoon because their home ground was condemned by the PSL’s grounds committee.

There are not the only team which have been forced to shift base. Nichrut are using Mandava Stadium together with Shabanie Mine. Mutare City’s Sakubva Stadium and Ascot which is home to Chapungu were also deemed unfit to host Premiership matches.

Meanwhile, other matches which have been scheduled for today will go on as planned.
