Elvis Chipezeze is set to leave Chicken Inn, and coach Joey Antipas is not worried as he has already found the perfect replacement for the South African Premiership – bound goalkeeper.

Chipezeze will join Baroka FC ahead of the start of the 2018-2019 Premiership season after signing a three-year deal.

According to The Chronicle, Antipas believes second choice Pride Zendera can fit well in Chipezeze’s shoes.

“You never know with football, anything can happen, but we are not looking at bringing anyone to the team to cover for Elvis,” said the coach.

“Elvis is a top goalkeeper that is why he will be joining the South African league, but with Pride, I think we have a top goalkeeper I am confident can do well in the league.”

Zendera will start on Sunday against Chapungu in the absence of suspended Chipezeze. Obriel Chiranda is also out due to suspension.
