Takesure Chiragwi has quit as Shabanie Mine coach citing interference from the executive and lack of care for the players.

Chiragwi who has been on edge in the past weeks due to poor results was offended by the club’s decision to bring in Rowan Nenzou and Gerald Phiri as his advisors as well as Elvis Muuya as the team manager.

The gaffer also felt that club was not doing enough to cater for the players as those from outside the town were complaining about lack of food with accusations that some executive members were diverting money meant for the players from benefactors to their own use.

Chiragwi bade farewell to the fans in the afternoon.
