Preview: CLPSL Match-day 17

Ngezi Platinum Stars will be looking to bounce back to winning ways this afternoon when they face Black Rhinos away at National Sports Stadium.

Madamburo lost their two previous encounters to surrender the top spot to FC Platinum. They are now six points behind in the second position on the log.

The Mhondoro-based side is boosted by the return of goalkeeper Bernard Donovan and striker Terrence Dzvukamanja. Donovan is expected to start after missing the previous encounter due to suspension while Dzvukamanja was on national duty at the COSAFA Cup.

In Gweru, Chapungu host CAPS United at Ascot Stadium.

Makepekepe goes into today’s match sitting in the 6th place with 26 points while the Airforce side is second from bottom with 13 points.

Both teams have enjoyed a fair share of dominance over each other. The last meeting was in August, and it ended in a goalless draw.

Bulawayo Chiefs welcome ZPC Kariba at Luveve Stadium while Triangle United lock horns with Chicken Inn at Gibbo.

Harare City will clash against Yadah at Rufaro in another match to be played this afternoon.
