Edmore Chirambadare is undergoing trials at Maritzburg United as he searches for a new a club.

The winger was released by Kaizer Chiefs early this month after he failed to make an impact since his arrival in 2016.

According to a South African news website, IOL, the Chirambadare started training with the KZN-based side on Tuesday, and coach Fadlu Davids is keen to sign him.

“Ed is in Maritzburg. He started training with the team this morning. He will be there for the few weeks.

“The coach (Fadlu Davids) is a big admirer of the boy but want to assess him closely,” an unnamed source said.
