Shabanie Mine are set to lose another top player Carlos Rusere during the current transfer window.
Rusere has already notified the club that he wants to leave. He is reportedly eying a move to newly promoted South African side Black Leopards.
According to The Herald, Shabanie’s secretary Max Nyashanu confirmed the development.
“Carlos and Tinashe (Chigede) told us that they want to leave us during the current transfer window to look for greener pastures and as a club, we will not stand in the way of our players,” said Nyashanu.
“Tinashe said he is going to join Manica Diamonds but Carlos did not tell us where he wants to go and we are yet to get information regarding his future.”
Chigede together with Joe Nyabinde already completed their moves away from the club. Nyabinde left Shabanie Mine after his parent club Chicken Inn recalled him from a loan.
Leading top goalscorer David Temwanjira is also on his way out and has been heavily linked with ZPC Kariba.
