Mutasa Rues Missed Chances

Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa was left to rue a number of missed chances after his side capitulated at the death to draw 1-1 against Chicken Inn.

Quality Kangadzi had put the hosts in the lead three minutes into the second half but the Gamecocks, spurred by veteran Clement Matawu, equalised in the 90th minute through former Dembare striker, King Nasama.

“I don’t want to talk about the goal that we conceded because I believe we created so many chances that we should have scored,” said Mutasa.

“But we were playing against a good Chicken Inn side, and I wouldn’t want to blame the boys.”

Valentine Kadonzvo, Kangadzi and Kuda Kumwala all wasted some glorious chances in the second half. The Glamour Boys had an opportunity to restore their advantage in the added time, but goalkeeper Pride Zendera pulled a brilliant stop to deny Cleopas Kapupurika.
