Katsvairo resurfaces in Botswana

Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Mitchell Katsvairo is closer to joining Botswana side Township Rollers after featuring in a cup tournament over the weekend.

After his release by Chiefs, the 28-year-old tried his luck at NFD side Real Kings before training with Caps United.

Now, reports from Botswana suggest Katsvairo is on the verge of completing a deal to move to the club.

Meanwhile, Zimbabwean players continue to flock to neighbouring countries in search of better salaries with Zambia now becoming the latest destination after South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana. Even Mozambique has also become another avenue for local players.

Highlanders striker Gabriel Nyoni had trials in Botswana a few weeks ago and his teammate Nigel Makumbe was supposed to undergo assessment in South Africa.
