Chicken Inn have released three veteran players as they try to freshen up their squad.

Club spokesperson Tavengwa Hara has confirmed to B-Metro that they have parted ways with Chris Samakwere, Thabani Goredema and Brian Juru.

“We offloaded Chris Samakwere, and we offered the player to Bulawayo City,” said Hara.

“We also offloaded Thabani Goredema who asked to finish his contract at a club where he will be able to get regular game time. Brian Juru’s deal with us was terminated.

“This is all in a bid to freshen up our squad. There is a need to accommodate more youngsters in our team.”

The Gamecocks recently recalled midfielder Joe Nyabinde from a loan at Shabanie Mine. They are also contemplating on bringing back Triangle United loanee Collins Dhuwa.
