Mutare City Rovers still entertain hopes of maintaining their Premier League status by winning all their remaining fixtures.
Coach Ndega Matsika whose team anchors the log standings with just 12 matches from 22 matches believes they can survive the chop.
“We still have a mathematical chance of surviving relegation judging by the way we have been playing. Our only biggest challenge is that we have been failing to concentrate until the final whistle. Once we correct that, I am very much confident that we will survive, “said Matsika.
Rovers who were on course towards recording another crucial victory in Harare after beating Caps United last month suffered heartache when Wilfred Muvirimi scored with the last kick of the match in the 1-1 draw against Harare City.
Vialli Tadzoka had given Mutare City the lead, and it looked like the game was going in their way, but a spirited performance by the Sunshine Boys saw the two teams sharing spoils.
