Khama Billiat could play on Sunday in Warriors’ 2019 AFCON Qualifier against Congo.

The Kaizer Chiefs winger suffered a hamstring injury on Saturday during his team’s cup game.

But team doctor Somani Mudariki told NewsDay that the sprain was not as severe as previously thought.

“The injury is mild. It’s not severe. We are treating him, and he will soon start light training, and we will see how he will cope with a load of training. We are optimistic that he will be ready for Sunday’s match,” Mudariki said.

Billiat was at National Sports Stadium yesterday during the team’s first training but only juggled the ball on his own while the team doctor was monitoring him.
