Khama Billat criticised for bad attitude, Agent speaks

Khama Billiat’s agent Michael Ngobeni of M-Sport Management has defended the player following an alleged criticism against him.

There were media reports last week which suggested that the Kaizer Chiefs players have not been happy with the attitude of Billiat since his arrival in late July.

According to Soccer Laduma, Ngobeni denied the alleged ‘attitude’ issue labelled against the former Mamelodi Sundowns player, describing the rumour as nonsense.

“There is this thing about Khama that he’s got an attitude and is complaining and stuff like that,” said Ngobeni.

“When I read that article, I interviewed three players. I even asked someone else from Chiefs about this thing. This is absolute hatred.

“It is nonsense and a big lie. Every player loves Khama Billiat. Khama Billiat doesn’t even have a record even at Sundowns of being rude. Whoever is doing it from wherever, or maybe it’s just a fan who is just hating, it is wrong.”

The agent also said everyone at the club was even shocked by the reports.

“The club (Chiefs) themselves are shocked (by) this. The player has just been blasted without proper evidence and without asking the club. The player is shocked.

“I’m not defending Khama but I know him, and he’s not like that. Khama Billiat goes along with everyone. He’s someone who’s soft and is smiling with everyone,” added Ngobeni.

Meanwhile, Khama Billiat is part of the Warriors squad that travelled to Congo for the 2019 AFCON Qualifiers Group G match scheduled for tomorrow.
