Mighty Warriors leave for COSAFA Championship

The Mighty Warriors have left for South Africa ahead of the 2018 COSAFA Women Championship.

Coach Sithethelelwe Sibanda named a 20-member squad for the tournament that includes experienced Rutendo Makore, Chido Dzingirai, Nobuhle Majika, Danao Bhobho and Erina Jeke.

This year’s edition is set to start on the 12th of September and runs until the 22nd of the month.

Zimbabwe are in Group C alongside Namibia, Swaziland and Uganda. They take on Namibia in their first group game on September 13.

Goalkeepers: Dzingirai Chido (Correctional Queens), Rauli Shebba (Auckaland Queens), Magwede Lindiwe (Cyclone Stars).
