Mohamed Salah scored directly from a corner in Egypt’s 4-1 win over Swaziland on Friday night.
The 26-year-old forward netted Egypt’s fourth goal shortly before half-time with a left-footed corner from the right. Ahmed Elmohamady, Amr Warda and Mohamed ‘Trezeguet’ Hassan also hit the target.
However, Salah, who has not scored in his past four games for Liverpool, left the field with the field limbing late on.
The result puts Egypt level on points with Group J leaders Tunisia, who play Niger on Saturday.
