Highlanders assistant coach Mandla Mpofu says they will not do relegation-threatened Bulawayo City any favour when they meet on Sunday.

The derby encounter will be played at Barbourfields Stadium.

City are currently sitting in the second from bottom position with nineteen points and a loss this weekend will be a tremendous setback to their fading hopes of surviving the chop.

“We are a team that seriously needs points. We will not do Bulawayo City any favour. We can’t afford to treat them with kid gloves,” said Mpofu who was the head coach of Amakhosi last season.

Meanwhile, the last meeting between the two teams was played in May with Highlander winning the tie 1-0.
