Dynamos coach Lloyd Chigowe has scoffed at critics questioning his team’s winning goal against Black Rhinos saying it’s a matter of sour grapes.
Questions were raised once again over Dembare’s victory which landed them on a safer 11th position on the log standings. Marshall Machazane got the winner with the last touch of the match using his hands to direct the ball into the nets from a corner kick.
“From where I was that was a genuine goal. The referee saw it a genuine goal. Maybe Black Rhinos are complaining because they lost the match,” said Chigowe.
“I am happy with the character shown by the players. Even when the match was heading for a draw they never lost heart. We really played well, keeping shape at the back. They failed to open us and needed that set piece to score.”
Dynamos take on Herentals in their next encounter.
