Kaizer Chiefs winger Khama Billiat made his debut appearance in the Soweto Derby on Saturday and managed to get his name on the scoresheet despite his team losing 2-1.

The 28-year-old who joined Kaizer Chiefs in the pre-season started in the first XI but was subbed off later in the second half.

He opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Orlando Pirates equalised on the half-hour mark through Innocent Maela. The home team grabbed the lead two minutes later courtesy of Vincent Pule’s effort.

Pirates midfielder Marshall Munetsi also featured, making his first appearance in the derby while Chiefs midfielder Willard Katsande started in his team.
